Ceramica Cielo presents “Cioccolato”: a brand-new colour intensity for the bathroom
A rich, luminous brown enriches the Essential Colors palette, exploring new expressive possibilities for ceramics through colour, texture and design.
Ceramica Cielo is expanding its exploration of colour with the introduction of “Cioccolato” (chocolate) - a new shade that joins the Essential Colors palette. An intense, rich brown with a glossy finish, capable of lending depth to the ceramic material and interpreting the bathroom environment through a contemporary, sophisticated style brimming with personality.
Colour, which has always been a defining feature of the Cielo universe, transcends a purely decorative role to become an integral part of the design. The company has, in fact, progressively expanded its research into ceramic materials, experimenting with new relationships between shapes, surfaces, finishes and hues, ultimately transforming washbasins and sanitaryware into genuine interior design elements capable of defining the character of the bathroom.
Within this journey, sits ”Cioccolato” – an enveloping hue that draws inspiration from the deepest shades of brown and translates them into a lustrous surface, where the pigment takes on a distinctive depth and the light helps to enhance the three-dimensionality of the forms. The result is a bold yet balanced colour, capable of complementing natural materials and textured features as it is within more sophisticated, contemporary compositions.
The new finish expands the Essential Colors range, a selection of five glossy shades comprising Bianco Lucido (Glossy White), Nero Lucido (Glossy Black), Fumo, Talpa and the new Cioccolato. This colour range complements the brand’s other palettes, ranging from the matt, textured tones of Terre di Cielo to the glossy hues of Acque di Cielo, offering architects and interior designers further tools to customise the bathroom environment.
