5 July Stadium is an Olympic stadium inaugurated in 1972. This stadium has been remodelled several times in the past, but now is involved in a definitive modernization project.

Technicians from Daplast visited the stadium to assist and train the workers in the first steps of the stadium seats installation process.

For this colossal project, Daplast has supplied CRM and CR5 seat models – with riser mounted metallic brackets. These seats were specially selected for the stands for their design and qualities. Daplast seats are light resistant against the average hours of sunshine of Alger.

The seats of the stadium are red, green and white. These colours were chosen because they are the ones of the local club – the Mouloudia Club of Alger – most known like MC Alger.

This Football Club is one of the most successful teams in the country; they won the Algeria National League seven times.

After its renovation, this stadium will be one of the 3 largest stadiums in Africa.
