Antis is the star of Manchester’s city centre

Euromobil furnished the kitchen of a luxury flat in the building symbolic of this industrial city’s rebirth

Euromobil left its own unmistakable mark at n. 1 Deansgate in the heart of Manchester. The focus is on one of the brand’s high-end kitchens, Antis, in gloss optic white lacquer and “Arabescato” Carrara marble. This extraordinary kitchen displays extremely accurate details and top-quality materials as well as cutting-edge home automation functions.

During a total renovation of this flat built in 2000, the customer wanted to replace the small, soulless kitchen with a larger one featuring a fresh, streamlined design. Euromobil’s solution includes a visually-light snack bar at which guests can sit and sip a drink while watching the chef prepare a meal.

The contrast between the white furniture and the dark wood floors makes for a really stunning effect. The same is true of the pared-back, decorated monochrome walls that contrast with the grey steel and glass structure of the building. The kitchen is enhanced by the large, floor-to-ceiling windows that fill it with natural light and set off the collection of photos the owner has decided to display in this room.

This flat is one of the most stylish in the area, built by developer Steve Maraney and located in a building coveted by Premier League football players and managers alike. But there’s more to it than that: Manchester’s city centre is experiencing a significant housing boom favoured by foreign investors including many German professionals and others from Hong Kong.

It is located in one the main roads which is more than one mile long. N.1 Deansgate is one of the first blocks of flats involved in the old town's rebirth at the turn of the century. In fact, after a period of neglect, the regeneration of this British metropolis started by converting some abandoned Victorian warehouses into flats. Twenty years later, this building has now become the glass and steel symbol of the city’s new rebirth.
