Showtime Cinemas Gets an Upgrade: 2008 Customised Ferco Opus Glide Seats with Smart Features

Ferco's Opus glide seat's innovative sliding design responds to your movements to glide effortlessly into the most comfortable position under your body weight whilst maintaining lumbar support.

We worked closely with our client, Showtime Cinemas, to create a customised installation of 2008 Opus Glide seats using Ferco's Biella Leatherette fabric.

This fabric is a synthetic leather, and is UV-resistant, easy to clean, and stain-friendly. The seating back and base has diamond stitching, customised to fit the auditorium design. Showtime Cinemas also opted for additional smart features like Ferco's rectangular table top and cup holder. One noteworthy accessory is the dual USB charging port which features Type A and Type C fast charging capability.

A total of 2008 Opus Glide seats were supplied, out of which 2001 seats were Link seats and 7 were Removable Single Seats. The customer chose a palette of 6 colours for the upholstery, all in Biella leatherette.

The Opus Glide offers cinema-goers a comfortable, superior seating position and easy operation. Its Glide functionality enables smooth reclining of the backrest and seat without the need for electricity, making it a perfect solution for any cinema, regardless of its size. The seating can blend into most areas, maximising space and providing exceptional comfort.
