How to choose the right timer model? Finder offers a range of models designed for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
In today's electrical installation landscape, optimizing the operating cycles of equipment and operators is a fundamental requirement. To meet this need, Finder offers a comprehensive range of timers designed to implement automation based on preset times, with the versatility to adapt to both residential/commercial applications and the most complex industrial contexts.
Finder timers stand out due to the integration of technologies such as “PWM clever”, which enables automatic recognition of the input voltage, ensuring a wide operating supply voltage range (from 12 to 240 V AC/DC). With more than 40 available functions — from classic On-delay and Off-delay to pulse-timed and asymmetrical flasher options — the range meets every type of requirement.

The range is divided into several series, differentiated by mounting type, number of contacts, and programming mode:

- 80 Series (Modular Multifunction Timers): These represent the standard for 35 mm rail (EN 60715) mounting. Characterized by a width of 17.5 mm, they offer nominal currents up to 16 A and six time scales (from 0.1s to 24h). The "blade + cross" solution allows both flat-blade and cross-head screwdrivers to be used on selectors and terminals.

- 81 Series (Modular Timer with Start and Reset): Ideal for applications requiring precise external control, it features 7 functions (4 with internal start and 3 with external start) and a dedicated reset function.

- 83 Series (22.5 mm Modular Timers): Multifunction and monofunction modular timers offering superior flexibility, with eight time scales up to 10 days and the option of configuration with a second timed contact or adjustment via an external potentiometer.

- 84 Series (SMARTimer): This multifunction device features a backlit LCD display and is programmable via smartphone (Android or iOS) using NFC technology and the Finder Toolbox App. It allows the combination of 30 available functions on each of the two independent 16 A channels.

- 85 and 86 Series (Plug-in Timers and Timer Modules): The 85 Series is designed for plugging into 94 Series sockets, offering up to 4 changeover contacts. The 86 Series consists of miniature multifunction timer modules, compatible with a wide range of sockets and relays, ideal for control panels where space is limited.

- 88 Series (Plug-in or Panel Mount Timers): Available with Octal or Undecal plug-in versions, these timers are suitable for quick installation on 90 Series sockets, with versions that include instantaneous and timed contacts.

Thanks to high input/output isolation and the variety of available functions (such as star-delta or watchdog functions), these devices ensure smart load management, reducing energy waste and improving system operation.
