Major companies are actively entering the R290 heat pump market. HEEALARX showcased R290 household heat pumps at 2022 MCE, having developed such products since 2020. GMCC&Welling presented an R290 solution for Nordic heating at 2022 CHILLVENTA, with extreme temperature adaptability. Phnix launched R290 air source heat pumps for Australia with high energy ratings. China’s carbon peak plans further boost R290’s use in heat pumps and home appliances.
