Project description:

We are in Rome's Ostiense district on the border with Testaccio and Campo Boario. Here, in a redeveloped post-industrial area adjacent to the Piramide Cestia and the Gazometro, stands the Porto Fluviale Luxury Village, a prestigious real estate project offering a variety of housing solutions, flats and lofts, to meet the diverse needs of its inhabitants. Modern and linear structures with clean geometric shapes, characterised by large glass surfaces. A distinctive feature is the attention to detail: every aspect of the project has been realised with great care to create an elegant and refined environment in which efficiency and energy saving are guidelines for every design choice.

The property turned to KE to fit out the terraces of the various flats with the need to make the most of the outdoor spaces to provide solar shading during sunny days, offer reliable coverage during rainy weather, and also ensure excellent privacy, allowing the inhabitants to enjoy the comfort of their outdoor space. The choice fell on the Kedry Skylife bioclimatic pergola which, thanks to its minimalist design, high-quality finishes and customisation options, blends perfectly with the architecture of the surrounding buildings. In addition, the total opening of the roof with movable blades made it possible to overcome landscaping restrictions, adding a touch of innovation to the entire project. The structure of the eight Kedry Skylife bioclimatic pergola tents was made in the colour Black RAL 9005, in perfect harmony with the project's colour choices.

In this project for Porto Fluviale Luxury Village, Kedry Skylife was supplied full optionally: with Line Glass sliding windows, Vertika Prime drop-down blinds, LED strips integrated in the perimeter profiles and an automation system for opening and closing, manageable via App.

From an energy-saving point of view, the Kedry Skylife bioclimatic pergola offers advantages all year round: it reduces heat loss during the winter and limits the entry of sunlight during the summer, helping to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature and reducing the need for air conditioning.

In this new project at the Porto Fluviale Luxury Village KE not only deploys the most innovative solutions developed in the R&D centre in Noventa di Piave, but also and above all demonstrates its ability to support architect and client in the design of customised solutions in the residential, hôtellerie and real estate sectors.
