LEC and the Atelier Lumiere lighting agency team up to up-light a new urban landscape!

The lighting project tailor-designed by Pierre Nègre from the lighting agency Atelier Lumière, immerses people in a warm atmosphere where colours and moves change with time ; as they refer to the on-going motion of this busy boulevard.

LEC managed to achieve in real the lighting designer''s idea in conceiving 95 tailor-made crowns all installed at the top of 19 masts of 16-meters high. Each mast is dressed with 5 crowns that deliver sequenced chromatic waves.

LEC had to adapt and put the designer''s ideas into real whilst complying with technical constraints and public space norms.

On the technical side, the material that LEC chose has a perfect resistance to external aggressions. Fixing responds to both mechanical constraints of components submitted to wind aggressions to a 16-meters-height and, to needs of on-site settings to allow random orientation of each crown. The crowns'' stainless steel structure facilitates maintenance and replacement of components.
