Lema presents the new Selecta modular system catalogue
The new Lema catalogue celebrates 25 years of Selecta, the modular tailor-made system in continuous evolution, among the brand's bestsellers.
A catalogue with a sophisticated layout that reveals new iconographic and technical contents. Undisputed protagonist is Selecta, architecture of scale for objects and thoughts. Since 1995 Selecta has been an expression of free planning, free from schemes and constraints. A constantly evolving modular system, tailored and flexible in both aesthetics and function, Selecta develops in space with the rigor of perfect geometry and the creativity of a structure with no dimensional constraints. An architectonic grid thought up as a white canvas to paint upon, developed based on functional needs and personal aesthetics. A truly bespoke product taking advantage of Lema's manufacturing expertise and a contemporary industrial process.
The concept of the catalogue created by Lissoni GraphX reveals Selecta’s uniqueness through images of settings with an immersive and engaging architecture. The design story is articulated in chapters defined in the different domestic scenarios that welcome Selecta: living, dining area, study and library, corridors and service spaces, to which a chapter dedicated to the presentation of special custom compositions, volumes with double heights, dividing elements, unexpected cuts is added, where Selecta confirms its leading role in defining spaces.
With over 1500 elements, the compositional possibilities are practically infinite. Selecta inhabits the house with elegance, naturalness, intelligence: bookcases, walls equipped for entertainment, study and work, dividing partitions, open compositions or with closed compartments for service spaces and corridors, double height solutions for attics and stairwell units. A highly customizable game of full and empty spaces, Selecta is capable of adapting to any new functional and aesthetic requirement.
Lema’s custom made series finds maximum expression in Selecta also from the point of view of materials and finishes at the center of Assemblages, the section dedicated to the story of the different aesthetic characters of Selecta through creative mood boards. An inclusive research operation that summarizes elegance with an aesthetic effect never to be taken for granted; unpublished combinations of materials and finishes for highly customizable solutions.
The aesthetic care of the graphic design is accompanied by the completeness of the technical information for an easy-to-consult image and commercial tool: the Technical sheet section shows the different elements and the wide modularity of Selecta together with the drawings and dimensions of the catalogue compositions whilst Samples collection shows the range of finishes, which are constantly being expanded.
