Liquid Line: A band of Light that adapts flexibility to the architecture
Protecting the environment is a top priority for Creos, which operates electricity grids and natural gas pipelines in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The impact on people and nature is kept as low as possible. No wonder, then, that the new administrative headquarters in Luxembourg City has been awarded DGNB Platinum certification. In its assessment, the German Sustainable Building Council takes equal account of the environment, people and economic efficiency, i.e. the entire life cycle. The building is divided into two interconnected blocks housing offices, meeting rooms, lounges and a restaurant.
The heart of the complex is the entrance area with its staircase. This is where the uniqueness of Liquid Line comes to the fore. The essence of the range is to follow the contours of the architecture. The light lines on the wall and ceiling of the staircase create a visual link between the floors and thus between people. Blue acoustic elements regulate audible sound and are a decorative element at the same time.
