Lightnet at the Light+Building 2024

Inspired by the energy and dynamics, the spectacular atmosphere, and aesthetics of the natural world, Lightnet presented its product innovations and sustainability initiatives at this year's light + building.

This year, Lightnet's presence in Hall 3.1, D50 focused on sustainability, a topic that is very close to the company's heart. The new film about Lightnet's sustainable production and the detailed sustainability report published for the first time at light + building underline this.

Highlights of this year's presentation were the new products 'Kumo' and 'Serenity', as well as the extensively revised product generations Caleo Evolution, Midpoint Déco and Midpoint Anti-Glare. Lightnet also showcased improvements to established product lines such as Matric System 25mm, Ringo Star Acoustic and Beam Me Up Soft Edge. The new surface collection sets new standards in terms of both colour quality and the sustainability of the materials and production methods used.

The lighting manufacturer announced its partnership with Relux. With the 3D graphics software for professional lighting design, Lightnet products can be planned via the ReluxNet product database. A further step towards offering customers complete solutions.

The central meeting point of the stand offered a special experience - a bar that served as a welcome desk. Above the bar floated the cloud formations of the new Kumo product range, framed by isobaric structures of Liquid Line light lines, guiding visitors into the stand with their light. The lighting installation was realised with a special Tunable White technology, which allows an atmospheric light spectrum from 2200K to 10,000K. This technology, synchronised to the music and controlled via DMX in time with the drumbeats, creates an impressive light show that brings the "Thunder & Lightning" theme to life. This was made possible by the latest generation of programmable DMX boards, which are also used in other Lightnet product ranges. The installation demonstrates the extraordinary flexibility of Lightnet in terms of mechanical, lighting and control technology, combining these aspects to create an impressive light sculpture.

The themed presentation areas around the centre of the stand, the natural colour scheme and the optimised acoustics thanks to carpets and absorber surfaces complete the exhibition experience. The walls, largely made of graphically designed expanded metal, interacted with the light and create a balance between openness and privacy, giving the stand the appearance of a modern, light-flooded building.
