Zifergauz / The Gazprom Neft Digital Transformation Centre.

Antique and modern meet in the light

Zifergauz is the new technological space of Gazprom Neft, located in the historic House 12 building on the New Holland Island in Saint Petersburg, which brings together cross-functional teams working on projects of digital industrial transformation. Here robots are assembled, drones are programmed, equipment is 3D printed, neural networks are trained, industrial gadgets and telemetry sensors are built, as well as the development of blockchain services for wireless networks taking place here.

For the creation of this space, the design of which was entrusted to VOX Architects, modern technologies have been used, improving the energy efficiency of the offices by one third. For example, water management systems can reduce water consumption up to 50% and biodynamic lighting can maintain high productivity throughout the entire working day. And that’s not all. The walls and staircases have used foamed recycled aluminium and over 100 tons of ecological glass.

For the illumination of the entrance area and the staircase that runs through the building in all its height, and thus highlighting the entire structure, the team of Linea Light Group, in agreement with the QPRO studio, has chosen the versatility of the Rubber 3D strip LED in RGBW, an extremely flexible product that has allowed installation in three different variants: embedded in the plasterboard, semi-recessed and free. Thanks to the patented internal circuit design, Rubber 3D can bend on all axes, giving life to organic and fluid curvilinear structures, even with sudden changes of direction.

In support, the use of special coils, which have guaranteed the maximum versatility of use, and the input/output cables that make it possible to connect several apparatuses in series, keeping the light uniform and constant throughout the length, without interruptions in the connection points.
