PROJECT «CHALET KAMOMILLA»
PROJECT «CHALET KAMOMILLA» The client of the project - Diana - a young but very talented architect who graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, will share her personal opinion today about working with Lumi Polar.
Let's go!
- Diana, hi, nice to see you! Let's talk today about the CHALET KAMOMILLA project, which we build for you, and where you are actively involved yourself, but first, tell us a little about your background, how you found Lumi Polar and why you chose our company to build your house?
Hello! :) Of course, I will gladly answer all questions.
As you already know, I am an architect myself, I studied architecture in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California for 5 years, but did not stop there. After university, I wanted to explore different areas related to architecture ... I did a lot! I graduated from courses in lighting design, worked in a development company and was in architectural consulting, graphic design.
Once I received a request from the customer - to design a 100-meter bedroom with high ceilings, where it would be easy to breathe. The main conditions - the house must be made of timber and as quickly as possible! I already had the first sketches of the layout, facades and construction. It was important to understand how to make it real.
I started searching for the company that would build an impeccable wooden house. I studied websites, company projects, construction technology, competitive advantages and found Lumi Polar. Without thinking twice, I wrote to them on social networks. It was Saturday, but they immediately answered me and said that they would contact me on Monday, and so it happened. It was an instant connection. The manager quickly answered all my questions, sent an algorithm for ordering a house, a commercial offer. I had no doubt that Lumi Polar is the right choice.
- What is the concept of the «CHALET KAMOMILLA»?
- As I said, initially it was planned to make just a 100-meter bedroom, but cardinal changes were made in the process. First, the size of the bedroom was reduced to 60 meters, but a 40-meter bathroom appeared. Then they said that we needed a bedside table for a kettle, and even better a mini-kitchen, as well as a place where you can retire, talk on the phone, and discuss important work issues. At the same time, the space should remain as open as possible. The minimum number of partitions and panoramic windows overlooking the forest are a must. So, the project grew into a full-fledged guest house.
- At what stage is the project now? When is construction expected to be finished?
- At the moment, the roof is being installed. Windows delivered and are waiting to be installed. From the moment the foundation is ready, everything goes at cosmic speed. After the first timber was laid, I planned to come to film the process of laying it further, but the house was already standing AFTER A WEEK! HOW?! The speed of construction is amazing. And most importantly, there is nothing to complain about. The timber is clean, smooth, the joints are perfect. It's bad, of course, that we didn't have time to film the process itself... but I think a little editing magic and we'll get a cool video :)
- What can you say about working with our company? Are you satisfied?
- Of course, I'm satisfied! In Lumi Polar, each member of the team is a true professional, a master of his craft. Moreover, the guys are all friendly and positive. In the process of creating the project, they taught me a lot. This is an invaluable experience. I'm sure CHALET KAMOMILLA is not our only project together.
- Diana, thank you for the interview, it was a pleasure to talk to you! See you!
- Thank you as well, I had a great time! See you!
