Maestri del Cotto has had the pleasure of supplying handmade terracotta floors in Villa Rosetta. This splendid villa is located in Città della Pieve, in the province of Perugia. This residence has long been the summer home of the Bonelli family, owners of the Duchy of Salci until 1816.
In 1997 the renovations were carried out, bringing it back to its former glory.
We were contacted to provide handmade terracotta flooring and wood-fired flooring. We had to provide artifacts that reminded as much of ancient terracotta as possible. So we got to work and we managed to get the result they asked for. In fact, thanks to our long cooking in the wood-fired oven, over 1000 ° C, the artifacts have acquired natural shades of color that recalled the real terracotta of the past. We have obtained an authentic, elegant but above all incomparable result.
The Maestri del Cotto, thanks to the study of materials and the commitment to maintenance, ensures that everything remains in its original state, so that this is not erased over time, preserving its beauty.
