TERRACOTTA FLOOR FOR A VILLA IN THE DESERT

Our Italian handmade terracotta for a villa in Israel.

Here we are in Israel, where the Client requested an authentic terracotta flooring for his beautiful villa.

Here the desert is the king, as well as the colors of the earth. Nothing better than a terracotta floor!

In fact, the choice fell on our Cotto Terre Umbre, made with a mixture of Sienese and Tuscia clays, to obtain the characteristic soft color that here blends perfectly with the stone walls and the surrounding environment.

Specifically, the Customer has chosen to create his flooring with our "Vissuto" surface finish, sanded to obtain a smoother product.

Inside, the terracotta Quadra format was chosen, placed in a straight square until it reaches the external portico. A glass door divides the rooms, creating a perfect continuity of spaces and shapes. Outside, on the other hand, we find the historic format of the Pianella, which extends up to the entrance staircase, where the rounded step format was also chosen here to create a staircase in an elegant and exclusive context.
