HISTORICAL RESIDENCE IN FERMO
Terracotta Floors in Cotto Terre Umbre Naturale
The Villa that we show you is a historic residence dating back to the seventeenth century, in which each element brings back to the grandeur of a centuries-old structure. Our role was to give the floor the same setting and appearance of an architectural element in perfect harmony with the context.
NOTHING BETTER THAN A HANDMADE AND WOOD BAKED
We produce real handcrafted terracotta which, thanks to manual beating and wood firing, allows us to create a unique floor, piece by piece. The individual artifacts in fact differ from each other, precisely because they are made one by one. Finally, wood firing creates natural shades of color that make each piece inimitable!
In this case, the terracotta chosen is Cotto Terre Umbre.
The mixture used to make this type of terracotta is made up of top quality clays from the Sienese and Tuscia areas, whose components allow the artifacts to be naturally colored. The final color is a soft pink with shades that recall the colors of the earth. Very easy to combine with any setting and context, here our terracotta finds its simplest and most elegant form. The Natural Finish given to the surface of the artifacts brings back to the main project of creating an environment perfectly inserted in such a historical context.
AN EASY TO CLEAN TERRACOTTA FLOOR
Keeping the floor of our homes clean has always been a cause for extensive discussion. Thanks to the guaranteed anti-stain treatments, which we apply to internal floors, the terracotta is protected from the action of stains and daily wear, especially when it comes to accommodation facilities or historic homes that are subject to much more stress! The protection given by our products allows you to create a 'surface defense' without the formation of films that affect the natural breathability of the terracotta, and making the entire flooring easy and practical to clean.
