MUSEUM OF ARTS AND CRAFTS IN GUBBIO

Handmade Terre Umbre Terracotta floor

This wonderful museum is a place of meeting and involvement to live and discover all the arts related to ancient traditions that our territory represents.

For the realization of the floors, we could only participate with our handmade Cotto and wood-fired that, just like all the traditions reported by the museum, is produced faithfully following an ancient Etruscan method.

WE CUSTOMIZE YOUR FLOOR

The artisan production allows us to produce a wide selection of sizes, customizable not only in size but also in thickness. We realize the terracotta up to 1 cm thick, ideal for those who want to glue on an old floor without incurring demolition costs, for those who have problems with heights or weights, very important for those who have a floor heating and want a room that reaches the desired temperature in the shortest time.

Terracotta tiles

La Pianella or Tavella is the historical format used for the realization of terracotta floors. It is a very popular format, because with its simplicity it adapts to any type of environment, from the most rustic to the most refined.

Terracotta square

The square represents a format historically used to make floors of places of worship or historic buildings. Even today it is used to reproduce particularly elegant environments.

Terracotta strips

The strip is a typical format for outdoor flooring, but today it is also very popular for indoor floors especially if combined with a modern style.

Polygons in terracotta

The Polygons, ideal especially for indoor, remain without doubt the most particular formats and with historicity of use more recent than other formats. Given their distinctive shape, they are especially suitable for paving representative areas, without exceeding use.
