Planters and terraces "Vor dem Wassertor"

The residential quarter "Vor dem Wassertor" has been given a new lease of life in recent years and months by Ascherslebener Gebäude- und Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH under the management of Mike Eley and in cooperation with Ingenieurplanungsgesellschaft mbH Wohlrab, Landeck & Cie. Aschersleben's largest housing company not only rents out living space, but also renovates historically valuable buildings. In doing so, AGW uses, among other things, recyclable and material-healthy building materials and implements innovative energy concepts to make climate-friendly and energy-autonomous living possible.

The house facades here were clad with NATUR-FASER-FACADE and balcony terraces were laid with megawood® decking boards. Elements from our construction timber program are also used here. Our planters and a railing serve as demarcation and fall protection on the greened flat roof. At the same time, the roof is also a habitat for many plants and insects. A total of six planters measuring 1 m x 1 m in the color slate gray have been installed. Between the planted tubs are construction planks in slate gray that serve as railings.

Constructible is what is conceivable. With our construction wood program, countless applications for the outdoor area can be implemented and individually manufactured. In addition, our recyclable and material-healthy GCC wood material does something good for the animal and plant world and makes a positive contribution to the climate change. This is because all megawood® products made from Cradle to Cradle Gold GCC wood-based material are 100% recycled and completely returned to the production process.
