Pedrali presents in absolute preview two novelties for the next Salone del Mobile

pedrali, on the occasion of the 60th edition of salone del mobile.milano, presents a preview of two outdoor products designed by cmp design: a sofa that extends the successfull nolita collection and a barstool fitting harmoniously into the panarea family.

the nolita collection recalls the origins of a historic course, started by mario pedrali in 1963 with his first metal garden chairs. now it broadens its horizons with a new piece of furniture: an outdoor sofa designed to enjoy moments of conviviality and relax in the open air, suitable for home living but also for lounge areas in the contract and hospitality sectors.

a sofa that confirms its summery and joyful character, featuring simple and iconic shapes and a steel tube structure that provide visual rhythm and gentle proportions and ensure the greatest strength and durability.

the nolita sofa keeps the collection’s distinctive features of transparency and lightness. the comfort is enhanced by soft cushions in waterproof fabric and polyurethane foam inside, that lie on the structure. the versatility of nolita sofa lies in the possibility to combine different modules: linear or angular, with right or left armrest, in order to create different compositions.

the panarea barstool adds a new element to the collection that is rooted in the colours and refreshing breeze of an outdoor dinner on a sea-facing terrace, on a pleasant summer day.

a barstool featuring a traditional element hand-woven in italy as a sign of respect for and dedication to italian craftsmanship.

the wide and curved backrest is woven in polypropylene cord which creates an original geometrical pattern and wraps around the tubular steel frame, as far as the armrests.

this use of cord emphasises panarea barstool’s elegant appearance and optimises the weave, resulting in a double curvature that gives the barstool three-dimensionality and graphic rigour, as well as making it transparent, easy to move and suitable for outdoor use.

over the seat leans a comfortable cushion in dry-feel polyurethane foam that dries quickly and covered in fabric made from the same yarn used for the woven element.

the footrest placed on the front of the barstool’s tubular steel frame makes it stackable.
