From 25 to 29 October, Pedrali will be taking part in Orgatec, Cologne’s leading international trade show in the world of office furniture, which in 2022 will focus on “new visions of work”. The 100% Italian company, leader in the production of contemporary design furniture for the contract and residential sectors will present new collections that affirm and highlight the Brand’s role in the office world.

Through #Pedraliworkspaces stand (Hall 9.1 – Stand A48-C49), covering an area of about 600 sqm Pedrali proposes its vision and brings to life seven scenes that reflect the various contemporary office areas starting from the observation that what only yesterday had seemed a forecast for the future, is today the new normal.

The workspace is evolving in an increasingly dynamic and multi-faceted manner and furniture is one of the key elements in ensuring its multi-functionality.

Furniture must be flexible, functional and sustainable, to create workspaces that can easily be customised and tailored to the needs of the moment.

Meeting rooms can be converted according to need into separate workstations or informal meeting areas. In executive offices and boardrooms, furnishings say something about the people who live them daily, conveying professionalism, while also creating a cosy, welcoming space characterised by high-quality aesthetics.

There is also an increasing demand for breakout areas as catalysts for socialisation; spaces where you can take a moment and relax with colleagues.

Great attention is also paid to company restaurants, which are becoming increasingly attractive and fitted with every comfort.

But the evolutions in the office world are also extending to the home office, where furniture and furnishings need to integrate discreetly and be easily configured. Moreover, furniture solutions also play the important role of supporting flexible work, where people partly work remotely and partly in the office.

Another trend that influences and directs design choices in the office world is the ever-increasing focus on outdoor spaces. As a result, we are witnessing a rapid increase in outdoor areas in which to work or relax. In such settings, the furniture needs to be comfortable and weather resistant.

Thus, the office remains an indispensable element of the business culture, but in a hybrid balance between city, business space and home office, conveying a sense of belonging, while also fostering continuous collaboration and interaction.

Pedrali furniture was also chosen for the #inspiredhybridoffice exhibition promoted by Orgatec in collaboration with zgoll: GmbH. The show offers fascinating insights into how a hybrid world of work can inspire people, empower employees to collaborate wherever they are, and reunite teams. At the same time, it provides a host of opportunities for organising and coordinating hybrid workspaces.
