Pedrali at HostMilano 2023 with #PedraliBacktoNature

The Italian company interprets the new shapes of hospitality

Pedrali, the leading manufacturer of contemporary design furniture for contract and residential, renews its 22nd partecipation at HostMilano, the reference trade fair for professional operators dedicated to the world of catering and hospitality, in which the brand has taken part since 1985.

From 13 to 17 October Pedrali presents in Fiera Milano Rho (Hall 11P, Stand B35 B45 C36 C46), inside the #PedraliBacktoNature stand conceived by DWA Design Studio, its latest collections related to the hospitality industry: versatile and functional products aiming to wellness, comfort and sustainability without giving up on that aesthetics and high quality which has characterised the 100% Made in Italy company for 60 years.

The #PedraliBacktoNature booth, designed by DWA Design Studio owned by Alberto Artesani and Frederik De Wachter, welcomes visitors in a 270 sqm space where the collections are displayed through a contemporary and elegant layout. In order to pursue the sustainable philosophy that has always guided the company, the same architectural elements that characterised the neutral volumes of the stand at the last edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano were reused.

Decorative elements, such as vases and stands, made by DWA Design Studio embellish the space.

Reva Cocoon by Patrick Jouin, a system of lounge seats for outdoor use, welcomes visitors inside the booth.

The relaxing atmosphere is accentuated by the comfort of the Panarea lounge designed by CMP Design. The scene also includes single-piece concrete table Caementum, designed by Marco Merendi & Diego Vencato, and the Buddy coffee tables by Busetti Garuti Redaelli that, thanks to their friendly and versatile character, can complete the interiors of every environment. Nature conquers indoors thanks to Hevea, designed by Victoria Azadinho Bocconi: a versatile furnishing element that brings greenery into contract environments. The iconic wireless rechargeable Giravolta lamps, by Basaglia Rota Nodari, complete the scene.

Anemos, the new table designed by Pio & Tito Toso, is the protagonist of the second set that ideally represents an outdoor patio: a hybrid space that emphasises the concept of the permeability of outdoor and indoor spaces.

Surrounding Anemos are the Babila Twist by Odo Fioravanti. With this product Pedrali receives the GREEN SMART Label, award for products with high innovation and distinctive features respecting the sector's trends in energy saving, environmental compatibility and eco-sustainability, promoted by HOST - Fiera Milano in collaboration with POLI.design.

Toa table, by Robin Rizzini, in the outdoor version is placed at the centre of the third set surrounded by the Guinea armchairs designed by CMP Design.

Beyond the backdrop that welcomes visitors to the stand, there are three different settings with unique atmospheres and references. The central area, revives the energy and vitality of a public venue, in which styles and flavours meet, giving uniqueness and exclusivity: Lamorisse, Lamorisse wood and Panarea by CMP Design; the Elliot tables and the Héra armchair by Patrick Jouin, suitable for use in some of the world's leading hotels and restaurants. Blume table, by Sebastian Herkner, that echoes the fine lines of the family, is combined with the upholstered modular seating Modus.

Narì, by Andrea Pedrali, plays a fundamental role echoing some of the elements of the first forged iron garden chairs from Mario Pedrali’s 1960s collection, in a contemporary key.

Souvenir chairs and armchairs, by Eugeni Quitllet, matched with Elliot tables, by Patrick Jouin, recreate an en plein air setting recalling the relaxed atmosphere of Parisian gardens. In line with Pedrali’s quest for environmental sustainability, Souvenir also comes in a “recycled grey” version in recycled polypropylene: 50% post-consumer waste and 50% industrial waste. Following this process, Pedrali has obtained the ReMade in Italy® certification from 2021.

Nolita Sofa, designed by CMP Design, an outdoor sofa designed to enjoy moments of conviviality and relax in the open air. The setting is completed by the lightness and versatility of the Circuit tables, characterised by a frame with soft and fluid curves.

Protagonists of the setting are a special full-height version of Hevea, which is an integral part of the stand architecture, and the Giravolta and Isotta lamps by Basaglia Rota Nodari.
