RENOVATION OF AN APARTMENT IN A HISTORICAL BUILDING IN NICE

In Nice, in a historic building located on the seafront near the Negresco hotel, we took care of the renovation of a luxurious apartment.

The project was developed directly with the end customer, therefore the architectural and structural elements of the windows and terraces were also created, thus managing to combine the needs of the restoration with the customer's desire.

On the floor of the entrance, an inlay in Red Jasper was made on a Crema Marfil marble base depicting a stylized sun, which represents the idea of ​​an elegant carpet in front of the entrance door.

In the dining room an oval rose window was created with Brown Emperador inlays depicting the buttoned lily, the symbol of the city of Florence, requested by the customer to connote Made in Italy and proximity to Italian art. The inlays made are placed on a background in Crema Marfil in order to enhance the contrast.

In the corridor, an inlaid carpet was created consisting of square tiles and a frame in Red Jasper on a background in Crema Marfil that runs the entire length of the space inviting the guest to enter.

In the master bathroom the absolute protagonist is Onyx Fantastico, an onyx with important red veins, used for the covering of the walls, the tub and the top of the sink. The technique used is the open spot laying in order to further enhance the natural veins of this splendid onyx.

In the bathroom dedicated to the second bedroom in the apartment, the pastel color is dominant, in fact Rosa Perlino was used for the covering of floors, walls and for the top of the washbasin, a marble with a soft color that perfectly matches the pastel green of the washbasin.
