SightUnseen speaks about our Thebes Stool & Chair Collection

We are proud to share the mini-article that the prestigious online magazine SightUnseen dedicated to the "Thebes" Stool and Chair collection that we created in collaboration with the McGannon Saad design studio.

The collection has been previewed at Maison&Objet in Paris 18th-22nd Jan 2024.

“Thebes” stool and chair collection is a seamless blend of past and present.

These luxury marble design stools and chairs embodie the essence of Italian marble craftsmanship and modern machine carving.

McGannon Saad wanted to emphasize the inherent qualities of marble as a material, as the company Pistore Marmi has been renowned for its natural stone since the 1960’s in the Veneto region.

The monolithic form showcases the pure beauty of each stone’s metamorphosis, creating poetic textures and stories. With a curved seat for added comfort, it draws inspiration from archaic period’s objects, hence the name Thebes.

The durability of stone makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, while it effortlessly integrates into contemporary spaces.

It comes in two versions – a low-back chair and a stool – with finish options in Rosso Verona, Travertino, Bianco Carrara, or Nero Marquina.
