A modern villa in Slovenia with marble as a protagonist

Lubiana, Slovenia

We are located in Ljubljana, Slovenia, near the historic center.

Inside a villa under renovation where design is the protagonist, we collaborated with the designer to select marbles that would enhance the modern and contemporary style that characterizes the whole house.

In particular, we were responsible for the realization of the kitchen countertop, the large TV wall in the living room and the stairs, starting from the site survey and technical drawings to the realization and installation of the material.

THE TV WALL AND THE FIREPLACE

The large wall in the living room has been crafted using Grigio Carnico marble with a book-matched technique, a refined and luxurious process that creates beautiful patterns due to the distinctive veining of this marble.

Grigio Carnico with book-matching is characterized by its elegant shades of gray and intertwining veins that create stunning natural patterns. This precious stone captures the attention of anyone who beholds it, offering a unique visual experience. Its open-book finish adds a touch of character and personality to the TV wall, creating a sense of depth and contrast.

Within the TV wall, a space has been carved out for the fireplace, adding warmth and ambiance to the surrounding area. The combination of the fireplace’s warmth and the elegance of the marble creates a feeling of welcome and comfort, transforming this space into an ideal setting for entertaining guests, relaxing with family, or enjoying moments of leisure.

THE KITCHEN MARBLE COUNTERTOP AND THE STAIRS

The kitchen countertop has been crafted using Nero Marquina marble. Known for its sophisticated beauty and intricate details, this marble instantly captures attention with its intense black color adorned with fascinating white veins, creating an extraordinary contrast with the surrounding environment. Each piece of this marble is unique, with its own distinctive veins that add personality and character to the kitchen countertop.

In addition to its exceptional aesthetics, Nero Marquina marble offers a durable and long-lasting surface, perfect for daily culinary activities. Its natural composition makes it highly resistant to heat and stains, allowing you to prepare your favorite dishes without worrying about damaging the kitchen countertop. Its timeless beauty blends seamlessly with the modern design of the villa, creating a culinary environment that is both elegant and functional.

The staircase, which extends throughout the height of the building, has also been crafted using Nero Marquina marble, this time with a matte finish. Its deep black color, complemented by sporadic white veins, creates a fascinating contrast and remarkable visual impact. The matte finish adds a touch of mystery and sophistication, lending the staircase an irresistible charm.

These matte Nero Marquina marble stairs integrate harmoniously with the surrounding environment, creating a sense of continuity and harmony within the villa.
