The new Archimede chair

Three tailored interpretations, one design identity.

At Milan Design Week 2026, RIFLESSI unveiled ARCHIMEDE, the new chair designed by CarlesiTonelli Studio, which stems from a profound exploration of the concept of balance between form and material, between structure and comfort. The name evokes the purity of the lines, the elegance of geometry and simplicity. This ambitious concept gives rise to a versatile, contemporary chair capable of transcending stylistic and temporal boundaries through a syntax of clean lines and defined volumes.

The silhouette is sharp, minimalist and slender: the slender legs create a light profile, whilst the original ‘V’-shaped opening in the backrest introduces a distinctive, almost graphic feature that becomes the project’s defining characteristic, giving shape to a piece of furniture with a distinctive aesthetic code that lends personality to residential spaces and high-profile hospitality and contract areas.
Conceived by the designers as a blank canvas, almost an archetype of pure design, the chair accommodates three different material interpretations, emphasising personalisation as a key value.

LEATHER OR FABRIC
To ensure the ultimate in comfort and softness, RIFLESSI has chosen a new-generation leather, recently launched on the market.
The choice of this upholstery, made from carefully treated and processed European cowhide, guarantees unrivalled performance and quality: stain-resistant, abrasion-resistant, easy to clean, as well as possessing antibacterial and antiviral properties.
