Riverclack® in the Land of Stone Carvings
Santa Maria delle Nevi Church - located at Val Camonica, Darfo Boario Terme (province of Brescia) - has undergone an important inner and outer renovation. After 60 years since its creation, AT Srl Coperture decided to replace the original brick roofing with a new, more modern metal covering made of > 17 m long insulating Riverclack® 600 aluminum metal panels. The external concrete columns were covered on all sides with an insulating layer of pre-shaped tapered white aluminium slats.
The prohibitively steep roof slopes of this church didn't stop AT Srl Coperture from completing this challenging task. In a short time, more than 1750 sqm of green (RAL 6021) roof coverings have been installed along with 2000 sqm of insulating material. No detail was left to chance: it was opted a chromatic combination of white and green to create a bond and a reference to the dominant color of the Lombard valley; the overall visual impact of the church's towering geometry has adequately repaid everyone's needs and expectations.
