Renovation of a small village house

Outdoor and Indoor renovation in Provence

Rouviere Construction has worked for the full renovation of a dark and unhealthy house in a small village of Provence. For outdoor works, the facades and windows frameworks have been restaured. The garden that was completely abandoned has been created with a new pavement (old stone aspect). A modern gate has been installed. A lot of works have also been done inside : the kitchen has been arranged with special furniture. The typical ceiling has been restaured and a small adjacent room has been excavated with a skylight in order to bring some natural light. The living room has been restaured keeping care to the typical architectural elements such as wood ceiling, stone walls and arch, chimney. The same pavement as outside has been used.

Stairs have been restaured with a micro-cement based plaster. Two bathrooms have been created with walk-in showers. Walls and floor revestment are also done with microcement based plaster.

A bathroom has been created in this area with a walk-in shower. Revestment with microcement plaster.

Renovated facade and window frameworks

Previous windows frameworks were damaged so Rouviere Collection has built identical new one. They have been tailor made with cement with an old stone aspect. The only piece that has been kept is the central one that leaves a latin inscription and the date 1914

Garden and gate

The garden has also been restaured and a special tailor made metal gate has been installed
