Spectacular villa in a spectacular Chinese city with a significant historical background
This impressive villa is located in one of the most interesting cities in China, in a residential area that grants a high security level. The villa has several floors and a substantial total surface area: This allowed the design of wide spaces, mainly inspired by classical style.
Living area
It is the wonderful heart of the house. A majestic double-height room, whose size is mitigated by the symmetrical rhythm of wood panels, columns and capitals. Everything speaks about grandiose refinement, from every angle. At the same time, the conversation area next to the fireplace offers a feeling of warmth and cozyness.
Music room
The music room, that is directly connected to the living area, is a more intimate setting. The main character is the piano: it is placed on a rised platform, outlined by precious textiles, draperies, decorated panels with shaped trims. The arrangement makes the space ideally designed for the occasions when the Lady of the house entertains her family and guests with music.
Kitchen
The kitchen, designed to use all the available space, lies on the two long walls of the room. Its shape invites to enter. While searching for ergonomics and functionality, carefully selected details donate richness: gold-leaf on the door frames, carvings, a valuable marble for the kitchen top and the backsplas.
Dining area
The dining area is ideally separated from the kitchen area, but at the same time they are connected; the pleasant atmosphere that this situation creates is perfect for more informal and familiar occasions, albeit always surrounded by a really elegant and finely cared decoration. Precious pieces of furniture, with inlays and carvings, almost come out from the boiserie.
Master Bedroom
The bedroom is refined and comfortable. Frames with light-coloured gold-leaf applied, classical-style seats with precious details contribute to the creation of a rest area with discreet taste, without excess. The only exception is an impressive headboard with “capitonnè” decoration, giving character to the room. The used colours are always very sober.
