The well-being of its guests and the quality of the materials are some of the main objectives of the hotels. To achieve this, not only must be noticed in its aesthetic aspect, but also in more technical matters. One way to achieve both goals is the installation of innovative elements, such as the ventilated façades of Sistema Masa. The last hotel that has installed them is located in the center of Barcelona, in the Gran Vía corner with Pau Claris street.

Thanks to this system, their guests will enjoy a good thermal insulation that will ensure the correct temperature in both winter and summer. In addition, the hotel can also save on their electric energy bill.

Within this new project, in System Masa we have been responsible for the cladding of the ground floor and the six floors of the hotel. One of the aspects that characterize this building is the use of "Bow Windows", whose plate we have placed some 90 centimeters behind the real line of the facade. Because the closing wall is a sandwich panel so there is no need for external thermal insulation and the horizontal profiling will be secured directly to it at previously reinforced sites.

GRC panels, which are custom-made, are reinforced with the GR-TR undercut anchors that we manufacture so they are embedded to improve their strength.
