TopAccess Roof Hatches with Retractable Ladder at “De Gebroeders” in Eindhoven (NL)
Secure, insulated access with TOP147 hatches in the Vondelkwartier neighbourhood
In the sought-after 1930s Vondelkwartier of Eindhoven (NL), two new apartment complexes—‘De Lodewijk’ and ‘De Willem’—collectively known as De Gebroeders, now feature safe roof access solutions. For this project, Staka supplied three TOP147 TopAccess roof hatches with retractable ladders: one hatch for De Lodewijk and two for De Willem.
These hatches ensure secure and efficient roof entry during maintenance. Constructed with thermal breaks (U = 0.21 W/m²K per EN‑ISO10077‑2) and high-insulation core (Rc = 7.22 m²·K/W), they feature sound insulation (23 dB), robust wind (2,400 Pa) and water (750 Pa) resistance, plus high snow load capacity (950 N/m²) and impact strength (0.35 kNm). With stainless steel (AISI 304), dual-point locking, easy-opening gas springs, KOMO and TÜV certification, they deliver reliable durability and performance.
