The Stûv 30-compact H can be fitted with an accumulator unit which stores part of the heat produced by the combustion of wood.

This accumulated energy will continue to dissipate for several hours after the fire has died out to prolong the sensation of heat and well-being.

With the glass door, you enjoy the view of the flames in complete safety and benefit from excellent efficiency. It ensures cost-effective and environmentally-friendly operation.

In slow-burn mode, the closed door with its heat shield channels the heat towards the accumulator unit. This conceals the combustion chamber when the stove is not in use.

In open-fire mode, you can hear the crackling of the fire, enjoy its aroma or even have a barbecue.

360° positioning of the stove

To ensure you have a full view of the fire, the Stûv 30-compact H has an integrated turning plate which enables the stove to be directed towards the living room or towards the dining room. The system enables rotation up to 360°.

A rear smoke duct attachment does not allow you to take advantage of this functionality.

External air inlet directly beneath the stove.

The previous generation did not ask as many questions as we do when installing a stove. Numerous factors have to be taken into account today, such as the air-tightness of the house, air-flow management etc. How can we ensure we make the right choices? Under what circumstances is the installation of an air inlet useful or essential?

It is quite simple :

on one hand, stoves consume air for combustion

on the other, homes are being made increasingly air-tight (for reasons of energy efficiency).

This situation seems to have resulted in deadlock. However, once these two mechanisms are understood, it is much easier to find a solution suited to each situation.

The Stûv 30-compact H is fitted with an outside air inlet directly beneath the stove. It is perfectly suited to very air-tight homes, known as passive houses.
