Stammplatz Chair in Milan!

New chair by Alfredo Häberli

During Salone del Mobile in Milan, Quodes teamed up with Swiss carpet company Ruckstuhl to show the newest member of the Quodes family: the Stammplatz chair with armrests.

Alfredo Häberli was inspired by the traditional wooden chairs, often seen in the Swiss Alps. Endless lines in the shape of the moulded wooden backside of the Stammplatz reflect the characteristic design by Häberli for Quodes. The Stammplatz is now also available with a padded cushion!

In May this chair will be exhibited at the Museum Paul Klee in Bern, Switzerland. Here paintings of Paul Klee and designs of Alfredo Häberli will be presented together during the exhibtion “Walk the Line”, which shows the bridge between object and drawing, between Alfredo Häberli and Paul Klee. We are proud that our Stammplatz chair will be part of this unique exhibition concept.

The Stammplatz chair is designed to complement our award winning table: Stammtisch. There’s room for eating, playing, drinking and working at the Stammtisch. A true social table.

Exclusive for projects is this chair also available in a version without armrests, other wood types , finishes and / or dimensions.
