Innovation in Retractable Roofs
Introducing the T7003 RPT Series by Airclos
Airclos steps forward in retractable roof technology with the launch of the T7003 RPT series, a model that not only follows in the successful footsteps of its predecessor, the T7000 RPT, but surpasses it in crucial aspects for modern architecture: waterproofing and thermal insulation.
Committed to overcoming the challenges of harsh climates and the demand for efficient and comfortable spaces, we at Airclos have spent countless hours on research to exceed our users' expectations. The T7003 RPT Series embodies our commitment to cutting-edge innovation, marking a milestone in the development of closures with significant improvements on several fronts.
Evolution and Excellence: Key Improvements in the T7003 RPT Series
Below we detail the technical enhancements of this innovative mobile roof:
Advancements in Waterproofing:
- Poliamide profile integration: A new design between the leaves with a poliamide profile, reinforced along its length with high-strength 3M adhesives, to eliminate gaps and ensure better thermal break.
- Enhanced wind block system: Installed in the guides to block air and light infiltrations at critical points.
- New guide configuration: Implementation of a front block under the guides to seal spaces and prevent leaks, along with a waterproofing tape that reinforces the lateral guides.
- Frontal foam sealing gasket: Added to optimize waterproofing and insulation along with improvements in the drive leaf and front loader.
- Material updates in guide joints: The drive leaf now includes features that facilitate water evacuation, maintaining thermal integrity at the joints.
Increased Durability:
- Accessories with robust finishes: Components of the transmission system are now available in INOX or with cataphoresis finishes, significantly extending their lifespan.
The T7003 RPT model also pioneers the integration of triple glass, achieving a Ug value of 0.5w/m²C, representing a substantial barrier against thermal energy loss.
Understanding Thermal Break Technology (RPT)
- A thermal bridge occurs when a conductive material, like aluminum, facilitates heat escape. RPT technology intervenes by inserting an insulating material between the conductive faces, reducing this exchange and promoting energy efficiency.
Details of RPT Technology in the T7003 RPT:
Poliamide barrier and Polyurethane Foam (PUR): Poliamide is inserted between the leaves and guides, and filled with polyurethane foam to reduce thermal transmittance, enhancing both thermal and acoustic insulation.
Benefits and Optimal Applications of the RPT Mobile Roof
The T7003 RPT mobile roof is ideal for environments requiring noise reduction and energy optimization, such as restaurants, pubs, and hotels, providing a comfortable atmosphere while reducing operational costs and environmental impact.
