Hotel The One - Caorle (VE) - Italy

[...] "The architectural unicum is articulated in multiple levels and different perspectives, so that each view reveals a new glimpse to the viewer.". [...]

The One is a hotel whose design, with its refined elegance, dominates the surrounding landscape. The hotel is located in the town of Caorle, near the sea, and was created by Architect Alessandra Zusso, who imagined the hotel as a building that reaches as far skyward as possible, creating the illusion of boundless space. The final outcome is an architectural unicum articulated in numerous levels and multiple vantage points, revealing a new sight to the visitor with each view.

To express this upward orientation, Atena Series S30 wood-effect suspended ceilings were installed in the hotel entrance to greet visitors by shifting the perception of light according to the circadian rhythm. The ultimate result is a structure that develops in height and allows people to partake in beauty in all of its elements.

For the wall modules, a custom-made paneling was constructed. Atena Series S30H40 staves were individually attached to perforated steel panels with thermo-applied sound-absorbing fabric for its realization. The paneling resembles the ceiling structure, combining with the white walls and accompanying the viewer's upward gaze.

Perforated Tweed panels were used for the corridor areas to provide a sophisticated aesthetic appeal without obstructing the view.
