The Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, renowned for his collaborations with prestigious brands such as Louis Vuitton, Alessi and Moooi, chose Berti Pavimenti to create an exclusive project in his private residence in Amsterdam. His aim was to design a parquet floor that would reflect his unique style, a blend of romanticism and modernity, enriched with elegant decorations and a strong symbolic meaning.

To achieve this, Berti’s craftsmanship merged with cutting-edge laser-cutting technologies, ensuring millimetric precision and the possibility of producing complex ornamental patterns. Every detail was conceived to integrate seamlessly with the house’s spaces, turning the floor into a key element of the aesthetic narrative of the interiors.

The design process included a creative exchange with Wanders, the selection of fine woods and tailor-made craftsmanship, culminating in the final installation, carried out with the utmost care. The result is a parquet that goes beyond mere functionality: it is a living work of art, capable of combining tradition and innovation, beauty and comfort.
