Our “Alicante” Bin at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan
A design from Ibi in one of the most iconic theaters in the world
Few places in the world breathe as much history and art as Milan’s Teatro alla Scala. Inaugurated in 1778, it has been the stage for some of the greatest voices in opera and classical music.
Legends such as Giuseppe Verdi, Arturo Toscanini, Maria Callas, and Luciano Pavarotti have graced its stage. In more recent times, artists like Plácido Domingo, Cecilia Bartoli, and Anna Netrebko have also performed there.
Today, from our factory in Ibi (Alicante, Spain), we are proud to be part—if only in a small corner—of this unique venue. The white Alicante recycling bin has been chosen for the interior of Teatro alla Scala, where elegance, functionality, and sustainability go hand in hand.
