Zaans Museum, The Netherlands
CLS LED
The Zaans Museum can be found in the typical Dutch landscape in the city of Zaandam. Zaandam is situated in the province North-Holland close to Amsterdam. This museum introduces you to the Netherlands in the times of the (wind)mills, the industry and the hardworking mentality of the Dutch people. Besides that the museum shows you how the Dutch used to live and work. All of this is shown by the means of subtly lighted paintings, the regional costums of the Zaanse Streek, images and chic bourgeois utensils.
The lighting design of Zaans Museum has been realized in collaboration with Rapenburg Plaza, who is responsible for the lighting design. The REVO Compact Track DMX was the ideal LED luminaire for this project. By using a data bus signal they don’t only control the voltage, but they also can send a DMX-512 signal. Besides the fact that the armature is compact it is also very energy efficient. It can also be configured in enormous variations. This makes the REVO compact series a versatile product which can be used in many situations.
