It is in Paris, in the famous Latin Quarter, that was chosen a floor with sticks of Emois and BOIS to sublimate the spirit boudoir lounge that emerges from the place.

The Aniando, a solid oak aged & ready to use * creates a refined atmosphere.

STICKS ROMPUS ... OLD & INDETRONABLE

Herringbone parquet flooring is a reason for laying old parquet. Formerly, it was mainly used to dress the floors of castles.

Its blades, uniform in size, are placed at right angles to each other. They assemble at the end and square with the fields of the blades of contiguous spans.

The broken sticks return to the heart of trends and seduce lovers of a neat interior design because they confer great elegance while remaining discreet.

It is a technical installation style that is equally suitable for contemporary, rustic, vintage, industrial or modern projects.

Historically, this technique of laying on the cob was widespread to pave the roads; the interlocking chevrons made it possible to absorb the compression of the movement on the road; it was then adapted to the laying of parquet.

Available in solid or laminated parquet, at Emois et BOIS, the broken sticks are also realizable to measure.

An original MARRIAGE ...

Here, an artist in love with the heat released by the walnut and the sobriety of the beech, wished to orchestrate the marriage of the two essences.

The effect produced by the originality of this assembly in broken sticks is eloquent. The alternation of blades (walnut and beech) of Emois and Wood causes a play of almost animal and wild colors.

Emois et Bois has developed an innovation combining beauty, respect for the environment, ingenuity and oiled parquet quality.

"Ready to use" seduces architects, craftsmen and individuals:

Say goodbye to the new parquet floor, which is hardly sticky and full of traces. With the Ready to use it saves time because the interior layout is done immediately after the installation of the parquet! The application of the finishing oil is no longer likely to be omitted by the floorer since finishing oiling is no longer necessary after installation.

Ready-to-use offers a very nice finish but is also solid (protected micro-surface), non-film-forming and environmentally friendly (VOC compliant oils).

The daily maintenance is facilitated, no need to wait for the drying of the 72h to be able to apply the soap of maintenance.

By choosing Emois et Bois flooring, you limit your ecological impact and contribute to sustainable development. Thus, you respect the environmental and social aspects of a globalized planet without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

For more than 30 years, Émois & Bois has been concerned about preserving biodiversity and has put all its emphasis on an eco-friendly approach:

1) Traceability and sustainable management

Emois et Bois ensures that the "traceability" of a solid parquet board is ensured in its entirety.

2) French manufacturing

The supplies of Emois et Bois in solid and uncoated parquet from a limited number of selected suppliers are mainly French. The finishes are entirely made in the factory Emois and Wood located in Sèvres in the Hauts-de-Seine.

3) Ecological treatment and maintenance

Emois et Bois strives to choose surface treatments composed of natural oils that comply with VOC standards (Volatile Organic Compounds).

These oils dry naturally by oxidation in the open air, unlike industrial oils which dry with ultraviolet rays.

For routine maintenance, Emois et Bois recommends the use of a specific and environmentally friendly oil-soap.
