Gallotti&Radice enters the world of luxury hospitality, inaugurating a new vision of contemporary living within hospitality spaces as well.
An immersive, sensory experience that redefines the concept of hospitality through a personal dimension of welcome, born from the ambitious vision of the Piperno family and realized through the architectural and interior design project by Architect Valeriano Boragina. With a strong focus on enhancing historical and artistic heritage, Hotel Trame represents the meeting point between the charm of tradition and the refinement of contemporary design, offering guests a unique experience where past and present engage in perfect harmony. With the tailor-made approach that has always distinguished the brand, the space features a selection of
furnishings conceived to interpret the needs of high-end hospitality: solutions that combine aesthetics and functionality, material sophistication and durability, artisanal craftsmanship and authentic beauty. In the vibrant heart of the Capital’s historic center, more precisely on Via Monterone in the Sant’Eustachio district, where history and contemporaneity intertwine like the threads of a timeless story, Hotel Trame comes to life. A boutique hotel designed to welcome curious travelers, attentive to detail and eager to experience the city through its most authentic connections—architectural, cultural, artistic, and human. Housed within a historic palazzo overlooking one of Rome’s most symbolic quarters, Hotel Trame takes its name from the idea of weaving relationships—between memory and innovation, modern comfort and classical refinement, timeless elegance and prestige. Each space is conceived as a narrative, every detail as a meaningful gesture that enhances the richness of the place. The project unfolds within a prestigious historic building and spans a total surface area of 760 square meters, articulated into environments designed to offer an experience defined by exclusive style without compromising comfort. The rooms, each different in layout due to the adaptation of the hotel program to a historic structure, follow a clear design principle: the creation of ‘furnishing islands.’ Beds and sofas are conceived as autonomous elements within the space, respecting the original architecture while simultaneously enhancing the perception of the architectural envelope. Completing the design narrative is a selection of elements chosen for their ability to evoke timeless elegance while expressing a strong, distinctive identity. Within the interiors stands the Sensei Console, designed by Tollgard + Castellani: a sculptural yet measured presence, where essential lines meet the refined materiality that defines the brand. Its clean geometry and meticulous attention to detail create a functional surface that is, above all, a true architectural element, capable of establishing a natural dialogue with the room’s historic structure. The same balance is found in the Stami Lounge by Studiopepe, an armchair with an enveloping form conceived as an intimate refuge within the bedroom. Soft curves and unexpected proportions create a refined visual counterpoint, inviting guests to experience the space in a relaxed and contemplative way. Completing the composition, the Selce side tables—also designed by Studiopepe—introduce a play of pure volumes and precious materials, acting as functional micro-sculptures that enrich the space without weighing it down. The setting is further enhanced by iconic pieces from the Gallotti&Radice collection: the Bolle lamps in the Bolle Stelo version by Massimo Castagna, with their ethereal lightness, and the Dama
side tables by Studio G&R, distinguished by their modular rhythm and elegant presence. In addition, a fully custom project celebrating conviviality—also designed by Architect Boragina— is the concept of the round room, evoking a Roman piazza, expressed through a circular table integrated with seating. Each of these furnishings contributes to creating coherent and refined environments that come together in a project where meticulous material selection and artisanal craftsmanship rooted in tradition are reflected in pieces that are truly unique.
Slow – Specialty Coffee Shop and Pastry Lab is located on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, overlooking Largo di Torre Argentina, and is part of Hotel Trame. The materiality and the uniform tones of the entire architectural composition enhance the space, emphasizing its architectural character. Light and warm color palettes were used throughout, while Roman travertine was employed for the flooring, the cladding of architectural elements, and the custom-designed furnishings. The 0414 and 0419 seating collections perfectly complement the project’s aesthetic balance and refined style.
