Car lift serving four underground levels at Hotel Metropole

An IdealPark IP1-HMT V07 combines vertical vehicle access, valet operation and corrosion protection in a prestigious seafront hotel.

For Hotel Metropole in Santa Margherita Ligure, IdealPark developed a vertical vehicle access system connecting four underground levels, three of which are located below sea level. The solution removes the need for conventional access ramps and increases parking capacity without compromising the hotel’s architecture or its surrounding landscape.

The project features an IP1-HMT V07 car lift with the driver remaining inside the vehicle. Integrated into the hotel’s valet service, it allows staff to transfer cars directly to the underground garage, reducing surface manoeuvres and providing guests with an experience consistent with the hotel’s premium positioning.

The system has a load capacity of up to 2,700 kg and a travel distance of approximately 11.9 metres. To withstand the coastal environment, it incorporates the Triplex corrosion-protection system, combining hot-dip galvanising, nanotechnology-based pretreatment and powder coating. Outdoor-certified electrical components, remote monitoring and 24/7 assistance ensure reliability and operational continuity.
