KE designs a new outdoor area for a residential house in Azzano Decimo.

Project description:

We are located in Azzano Decimo, in the Pordenone area: a quiet residential area consisting mainly of detached houses. Here we find a single-storey house, built in the early 70s, which the owners decided to renovate.

The aim of the project was to redefine the entire volume of the existing building by building an extension on the north/west side of the house, thus revising the overall floor plan.

The clean lines and materials used define the architecture. The simple lines, the clean and essential contours of the building were also achieved by deliberately masking the gutters and downpipes.

All the openings in the existing façades have been reinterpreted by adding large glass surfaces towards the garden, thus favouring natural lighting and ample visual permeability between the interior and exterior of the house.

In particular, the living area to the south/east is characterised by the presence of a large window overlooking a covered outdoor area, creating a link between the indoor and outdoor spaces and allowing diffuse light into the rooms.

In this area the designers of the R+R studio in Azzano Decimo - which works in the fields of architecture, interiors, lighting and gardens - created an outdoor area that needed a roof. The choice fell on the KEDRY Prime louvered pergola by KE, in the shade Black Inver: the aluminium structure leaning against the wall with a roof with adjustable blades fits perfectly into the modern and minimalist architectural context of the house.

KEDRY Prime is a versatile solution with an essential style and customisable finishes, such as the LED strips along the eaves and along the blades that create an evocative lounge effect at night.

Adjustable up to 135°, the blades allow proper ventilation and illumination of the room below, and at the same time - when closed - allow water tightness in case of bad weather.

Kedry Prime can be closed with panoramic sliding windows or with Vertika Prime side rollers. The variety of fabric choices (transparent, filtering and shading) allows for the desired level of shading.

KE solutions offer the guarantee of a product entirely made in Italy, designed by the company's in-house R&D department according to the requirements and latest technologies of the sector.

Modular shading structure made of aluminium with a roof with adjustable blades fixed on a perimeter bearing beam profile that allows rotation up to a maximum of 135° thanks to the insertion of tubular motors, and characterised by perimeter gutters that allow water drainage.

The maximum dimensions allowed are 500 x 705 cm with a column height of 300 cm and a covering surface of 35.25 m2 for each module. Modularity is unlimited on all sides. The profiles are made of extruded aluminium alloy EN AW-6060 (with 16x23 cm rails and 16x16 cm columns). Self-supporting or lean-to versions are available, which are fixed to the wall using stainless steel brackets and screws. The painted parts are coated with polyester resin-based epoxy powders.

Optional extras include other colours as per sample book and the possibility of internal lighting on the blades and perimeter, or external lighting on the supporting beam, through the installation of LED strips. There is also provision for the inclusion of light and rain sensors and anemometers with the possibility of remote management through connection devices that make it possible to integrate it with the home automation system. It is possible to install perimeter drop, drape and glass curtains.

Wind resistance is guaranteed up to class 6 (EN 13561:2015).

The product is CE-marked in accordance with EN 13561:2015.
