A historic, 3-star hotel in the Piazza Trieste area, Hotel Granada is an ideal location for families looking for a relaxing holiday in Jesolo Lido. Located a few hundred meters from the ocean, the hotel has been managed by the Senno family since 1967.

This year, the hotel has undergone some renovations, including replacement of the original 25-year-old KE America model window awnings on each terrace.

KE's PMO Office – which specializes in custom projects in the Ho.Re.Ca. industry – was contracted to design and install a versatile and compact solar shade system that would give the building a brand-new look without being conspicuous.

To achieve the client’s vision, KE selected a different approach to the original concept and chose the KE SCREENY 110 GC S12 cable-guided roller screen, perfect for creating a more modern, minimalistic look.

The SCREENY line is inspired by the principles of Daylighting, a philosophy of architecture that prioritizes visual comfort and energy savings through the use of natural light. KE’s on-going commitment to research and development has produced a wide range of vertical roller screens designed to provide customized shade for any building.

Particular attention was paid to the choice of the fabric: a PVC-coated polyester screen, using exclusive, patented Serge Ferrari Précontraint® technology. It is ideal for its visual comfort and resistance to heat, weather and UV rays. A lightweight, durable, fireproof and entirely recyclable fabric, it adheres to KE's green philosophy.

KE solar shade products combine high quality materials with outstanding design and innovation, creating comfortable outdoor spaces that extend the usable areas of hotels, bars, restaurants and shops.

The fabric can slide on cable guide (GC), profile guide (GP), "Unica" zip profile guide (GPZ) or Pratika guide (GPR).

Maximum dimensions: 400 cm x 300 cm

Wind resistance class 3/2 (GC, GPZ) / (GP, GPR) according to EN 13561:2015.

70 mm diameter fabric winding roller in galvanized steel with patented system for the reduction of folds on the fabric.

Can be wall or ceiling mounted, or, for the GPZ version only, self-supporting.

Either manual or motorized versions are available. The addition of light and wind sensors with motorized models can create remote or automated control of the system through the use of a smartphone app.

Curtain profiles are aluminum alloy 6060, brackets are die-cast aluminum or clamshell, stainless steel screws. Parts are powder-coated with epoxy-based polyester resin.

Fabric choices include acrylic, polyester or PVC according to KE sample book.

Standard frame colors include White RAL 9010, Aluminium RAL 9006, Off White RAL 1013 (GC, GPZ, GPR). Other colors of the KE Color Palette are available as an option.
