KE with QUBICA creates a wellness area by the pool in an exclusive resort in the Marche region

In the green heart of the Marche hills, in Castelraimondo, the silence of the landscape meets an intimate resort. Here, where time passes slowly, wellness becomes energy for an exclusive and regenerating experience. We are at Borgo Lanciano Resort & Spa: an old manor house, made of wood and stone that warms up in the sun, a historic dwelling that now opens up to tailor-made hospitality made of care, attention and uniqueness.

The property contacted KE's PMO office - which deals with tailor-made projects in the Ho.Re.Ca. sphere - to screen the large windows overlooking the terrace and, at the same time, create an extension of the protected area for guests using the outdoor swimming pool. The client's request was to lightly protect the large glass surface, which in summer is subject to intense sunlight, thus limiting the massive use of air conditioners.

The choice - thanks to the advice and experience of KE Store Arredo Casa - fell on the QUBICA Plumb cassette awning with AKI arm. Born from a concept by designer Robby Cantarutti, the QUBICA line is available in different configurations and stands out for its excellent performance, essential aesthetics and extreme versatility. QUBICA - in this project accessorised with the AKI arm - is an awning connected thanks to the main home automation devices: the latest generation climate sensors define the awning's opening and closing time and mode, thus creating customised scenarios.

Characterised by its vertical development, limited overall dimensions and the possibility of customisation, here QUBICA Plumb is in Carbon Ruvido shade, a choice that contrasts with the architectural style and pattern of the exposed bricks: a combination that gives personality and recognisability to the Marche project.

Once closed, QUBICA blinds become a discreet and elegant design element, in which the fastening elements are totally concealed, while the cassette protects the fabric, prolonging its life over time.

Technical performance, technology and functionality are among the cornerstones of KE products: in this new project at Borgo Lanciano Resort & Spa the company once again demonstrates its ability to dialogue in perfect harmony with the stories of unique places.
