KE designs an unprecedented convivial space for a private residence immersed in Irish nature

Project description:

Maghera is an atmospheric place in northern County Donegal, Northern Ireland. The small town is set against the scenic landscape where unspoiled wilderness is stunning in its vibrancy and charm.

The project, in the spacious garden of a private residence, is aimed at the creation of a new patio curated by an outdoor designer, who in the design integrated both the space dedicated to greenery and the part intended for paving that is suitable to accommodate of the new structure. The client's request was to directly connect the bar area of the living room with the new covered patio to have a large area that could be used year-round regardless of weather conditions. The main requirement was to shelter from the weather but also to be able to enjoy the sun on a bright day, for an innovative and comfortable living space.

For this reason, the owner turned to KE for a customized project and identified the minimalistic-design aluminum pergola Isola 3 as the perfect answer to the needs of this tailor-made realization. Complementing the pergola awning is the Line Glass perimeter window system whose high performance and all-glass effect increase the brightness of the rooms and accentuate the contact with the surrounding landscape in the view of the enchanting garden. The versatility and customizability of KE products made it possible to create a tailored project with a unique character. The pergola is equipped with Line Glass perimeter closures: the choice of glass was driven by the need to capture the warmth of the capricious Irish sun and hold it as long as possible. To complete the design, LED lights on the outer and inner perimeter allow the magnificent installation to be enjoyed every day of the year, at any time of day. The color of the structure was chosen for its contemporary look.

In this project KE once again demonstrates its great experience in being able to combine stylistic care, the quality of the materials used and the versatility of the proposals, which are completely designed and made in Italy.
