Excellence in design takes to the track in Valencia. KE, an international benchmark in the solar shading sector and a brand of the Frontyard Group, delivers a project of extraordinary technical complexity and aesthetic impact at the iconic Ricardo Tormo Circuit. As part of the complete renovation of the hospitality areas, the KE Contract Spain division, in synergy with top dealer Tecnoterrazas SL, developed an outdoor solution capable of combining extreme performance with architectural rigor.
The client BECSA SAU’s request was clear yet extremely ambitious: to protect the VIP terrace from weather conditions and sunlight while ensuring total, uninterrupted visibility of the track. To avoid obstructing crucial moments of the races, the structure necessarily had to dispense with the traditional front vertical posts.
KE responded by turning a structural constraint into an engineering masterpiece, designing a line of coverings that appears to “float” above the circuit, preserving an unobstructed panoramic view for spectators.
To cover the 282 m² surface area, the KEDRY PRIME bioclimatic pergola was selected—a model distinguished by its modularity and clean, minimalist design.

Custom suspended configuration: 17 double modules were installed in a continuous line of almost 100 linear meters. The defining feature is the absence of front columns, a choice that required millimeter-precise structural calculations to ensure stability and safety. Thanks to the adjustable louvers, the structure allows perfect control of ventilation and shading, protecting both guests on the terrace and the glazed interior areas. For chromatic integration, a textured RAL 7016 finish was chosen—an anthracite shade that harmonizes the structure with the circuit’s industrial, contemporary aesthetic. The project also includes a customized front drainage system, with a double drainage circuit directly connected to the gutters, ensuring maximum efficiency even during heavy rainfall.

Once again, KE proves to be the ideal partner for the most ambitious challenges, capable of translating functional requirements into cutting-edge solutions that elevate the user experience. A perfect synergy between design and style, where construction quality becomes the means to offer VIP Area guests a truly privileged view.
