Floors in Cotto Rosato Toscana Lived!

For this project in the province of Perugia, our company has created the Tuscan terracotta floor with a lived-in finish, with guaranteed anti-stain treatment.

Given the presence of underfloor heating, we laid the artifacts instantly as the screed was spread thanks to the sprinkling of lime, a particular installation that definitively eliminates the use of glues as well as chemical fumes.

The dusting of Calce is a traditional system for the installation of internal floors in which, in a single step, the screed and gluing of the floor are made. In this case, the glue is lime, ideal for eliminating any chemical ingredient and the consequent fumes, as well as favoring laying flatness.

The complete absence of chemicals guarantees the absence of interstitial condensation and maximum breathability of the floor, obtaining, in the case of underfloor heating, a healthy and dry heat.

In this project the terracotta artefacts were assembled according to the ''Testa Avanti'' laying pattern, typical of ancient peasant houses, which adapts perfectly to any surface and context. It differs from the 'herringbone' installation because the latter is positioned at 45 degrees with respect to the wall.

Finally, the terracotta was treated with our organic products to give a Definitive and completely natural Anti-stain seal.
