Metalco presents its latest innovations in the field of street furniture at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair

New products, new materials, and new trends to realize the idea of social design for real life!

Metalco, the leading Italian Group manufacturing solutions, and products for the high-impact urban spaces and smart city projects, presents its street furniture at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2020, one of the most significant events in Northern Europe, which will be held from 4-8 February 2020 at the Stockholmsmässan exhibition center. For more than 35 years, Metalco symbolizes the ability to develop first-in-class products that respond to cities' needs and handle complex projects, offering flexible solutions for the challenges faced by architects and designers who want to build and renovate urban spaces.

Metalco brings the charm of Made in Italy design to Stockholm, presenting a complete range of urban furnishing elements: from the elegant stone benches to the air L. picnic tables, passing through complete ranges of planters, litter bins, and bollards, all characterized by elegant features and sleek design.

But the real showpiece is "Metalco Skin Program", an ambitious project risen from years of investments in research and development and collaborations with experts in the field. By the awareness that urban life should be more comfortable, even in geographical areas where weather conditions are never favorable, Metalco has built up a cutting-edge technology - developed in partnership with Thermal Technology and covered by international patents - that allows heating street furniture products: in this way people can sit on a perfectly heated bench or walk on a floor that radiates warmth, even though everything around is freezing cold.

The products included in the Metalco Skin Program are designed to have the lowest environmental impact, relying on the best heat conductor, that reduce thanks to its high-performance in thermal insulation.

It will be a true revolution in the field, intended to inspire the imagination of many architects and urban planners.
