Milano Bedding returns to the Salone del Mobile 2025 with new sofa beds for perfect relaxation.
Design, comfort and functionality are the key words of Milano Bedding for the next Milan design week. The collaboration between the company and the designer Christophe Pillet continues, who signs the new sofa bed Rufus.
From the 8th to the 13th of April, the most important international event for furniture and design returns to Milan-Rho Fiera, where Milano Bedding will also be among the heroes with its sofa beds.
The 63rd edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano will have a new communication campaign "Thought for Humans", created by the New York artist and photographer Bill Durgin.
Durgin captures evocative images that illustrate a harmonious fusion between human forms and materials, highlighting the profound connection between design and human experience. He thus places the human being at the centre of the narrative, describing design as an essential element for improving the quality of daily life, just like the products designed and offered by Milano Bedding.
Furthermore, it will be a journey through design trends, which are increasingly balanced between innovation and tradition, style and functionality. We will find, as in the Milano Bedding proposals, soft and reassuring lines, timeless units defined by the union between the designer's poetics and the company's identity.
Milano Bedding has always represented the connection between timeless design, human experience and functionality.
This is expressed by designing sofa beds and storage beds - combined with a wide variety of mattresses - designed for the well-being of the person, both in moments of relaxation during the day and during nighttime rest.
Marsalis and the unreleased Rufus signed by Christophe Pillet
For this edition, the company returns to collaborate with the French designer Christophe Pillet. After the Marsalis sofa bed, presented in 2023 and in a new version in 2024, the Rufus sofa bed will be presented at the next Salone del Mobile.Milano.
So in the stand (Hall 11 - Stand H20) great emphasis will be given to both models: Marsalis, in the version with a hexagonal terminal unit, to give even more space to comfort, while the new Rufus will be exhibited in the version of a three-seater double sofa bed and as a French sofa bed with the addition of a comfortable chaise longue.
Haden and Vivien: functionality and design for complete well-being
At the fair you will also be able to discover the comfort and practicality of the models Haden and Vivien.
The Haden sofa sleeper, with a linear design, enhanced by quilted upholstery, will be offered with armrests: just one gesture will be enough to experience how the model quickly transforms into a bed, simply by pulling from the seat and pushing the backrest down. This opening system allows you to rest on a comfortable 200cm long French bed, which takes up less space in the room compared to sofas with a front opening. A solution designed by Milano Bedding for those who need to save space, without sacrificing design and comfort.
Vivien with chaise longue, designed by Alessandro Elli is the elegant sofa in balance between contemporary design and sinuous shapes of the '50s and '60s. The total absence of edges and the harmonious lines create a fluid, welcoming and elegant aesthetic, with graceful proportions. The enveloping backrest, which continues to become an armrest, together with the soft cushioning, helps to offer that exceptional comfort source of well-being.
These are just some of the previews of what you can see at the fair, during the Milan Design Week.
So, Milano Bedding awaits you in the stand, to show the novelties and all the details of its convertible sofas entirely made in Italy.
