Triflex liquid applied waterproofing provides long-lasting protection for roofs

The roof surface waterproofing system Triflex ProTect protects roofs long-term against the effects of extreme weather. The full-surface bonding with the substrate means there is no underflow of rainwater. Triflex ProTect can be applied to almost all substrates. This spares you the expense of removing existing coatings and saves valuable time. The waterproofing is highly elastic and dynamic crack-bridging, meaning that movement from other functional layers of the roof can be absorbed without ill-effect. The roof-surface waterproofing system gives water-tightness and also safely channels off large volumes of water.

Special solutions for complex details

Triflex ProDetail is a proven system solution for the waterproofing of complex and intricate components such as pipe connections, ventilators or attachments of solar modules. The fleece-reinforced detail waterproofing system is elastic, moulds to the details of the roof, and creates a homogeneous, seamless surface with no joints. Since it is factory prepared as a thixotropic formulation, it can also be applied to slanted and vertical surfaces. In addition, it is highly weather-resistant and impermeable, thanks to its full-surface adhesion to almost all bitumen and plastic sheeting. Triflex ProTect and Triflex ProDetail have obtained European Technical Approval (ETA) and meet the requirements of the German Flat Roof Guidelines for liquid applied waterproofing and DIN 18531. In addition, both system solutions withstand the impact of hailstones, as proven in a hail impact test conducted to DIN EN 13583.

The waterproofing resins from Triflex have particularly short curing times and can be applied at substrate temperatures down to -5 °C. The system solutions enable quick roof refurbishment even in adverse autumn and winter weather.
