Les Arcs by Unopiù
Modular outdoor furniture proposals
Unopiù presents the new proposals of the Les Arcs collection. New modular aluminium elements join the collection to make even more comfortable the open-air experience of the brand.
After the seating and the round tables in painted aluminium, launched in 2021, a new single arm-chair, left end or right end corner sofas and two coffee tables join the Les Arcs collection. The unre-leased elements can be combined together to create several solutions.
The company, renowned for creating elegant and functional outdoor spaces to enjoy relaxing and in-spirational moments in harmony with nature, introduces new modular furnishings which can suit di-verse needs in line with the most flexible approach.
The Les Arcs collection embodies many of Unopiù values like tradition, elegance, a wise usage of materials and the ability to join together classic and contemporary.
Conceived by the designers Meneghello Paolelli Asssociati for Unopiù, the collection was originally born in a first version made of teak and chord. Today, Les Arcs is composed of a new family of products entirely made of aluminium: a lightweight, recyclable, efficient and versatile material with a sustainable appeal. The original design of the backrests’ interlaced arches has been preserved but in a more fresh and contemporary way.
The motif of the interlaced arches, which originally gave the name to the collection, gives to the new seating’s backrests a distinctive and remarkable touch. The sophisticated decoration of the overlap-ping arches surrounds the sofas and the armchair in a fluid way to become an emblematic trait of this line which makes of the geometry of the arches its project pattern. The backrests are purposely thought as decoration but even to support the cushions to grant a comfy seat.
The choice of updating the collection through a new material and innovative modular solutions was born out of the company’s will to develop its products but without forgetting its heritage. The result is a slim and colourful system of furniture which refers to the style of the previous teak and chord ver-sion but it meets different indoor and outdoor needs, both for residential and contract projects. In-deed, Les Arcs is a versatile proposal which looks forward to the future but it is profoundly linked to the past in terms of pattern and style.
The new proposals feature elegant and curvaceous lines, a modern and at the very same time ro-mantic identity. The chance to compose many systems of furniture, choosing the different elements and playing with the colours – dove grey and avio; or upon request white, graphite, red, green olive and antique pink – contributes to the unique style of these products.
